I haven't watched the show in quite awhile but I do remember that season 1 and season 2 have different vibes (at least for me), I wonder how Remus and Janus would've looked (did they have a costume change along with the other sides?, etc) and acted if Virgil didn't leave them/they appeared in season 1 before AA, and how C!Thomas would've felt about them and Anxiety (would knowing that there are more "bad guys" make him see him differently?) if that happened

I'm kinda fixated on sasi again for the first time in over 3 years but only specifically on an au I made up in my head where the other 3 dark sides (Janus, Remus, Orange) are all introduced before Accepting Anxiety happens and so all 4 of them cause chaos together

I really love pre-aa Virgil and I want the dark sides to act like a family and/or a completely unhinged friend group (and for them to violently defend Virgil when the core sides mostly Roman used to be mean to him in season 1)

because i'd love a slowly expanding cast of characters (maybe start with 2-3 characters each and go from there?), it's very preferable to me that replies stay on the shorter side, as in one paragraph or less (unless the thread is really plot significant or intense/emotional! ik those can get away for us length-wise LOL) this way we can prioritize quality over quantity, and actually get to see relationships & plots evolve over time in many threads rather than spend weeks or months on a single thread and never actually get to all the good stuff we've plotted. in my experience, it's way more fun to have an evolving mumu where replies take maybe 5-10 minutes to write, and it also allows us to keep the progress of the rp going at a continual pace, which keeps it fun, exciting, and fresh!

i am happy to write smut when the relationship/thread calls for it, and i also enjoy nsfw headcanons alongside sfw ones! i'd say i prefer a 80/20 story to smut ratio. i am also comfortable with most dark or complicated themes, but this will probably be case by case basis. i'm looking for a soap opera inspired town mumu, basically! a good variety mix of drama & intrigue, angst & fluff, smut & sweetness, tragedy & other dark themes, ect, but nothing too intensely or consistently dark or taboo

(Concept, part 1, part 2) Thank u anon that’s so nice, I appreciate you sending these asks :) and these all very good questions.... that I don’t really know the answer to because again my memory is bad! But uh:

The council! Ok so this will probably be a bit confusing but before I answer this I have to explain the two ideas I had going into this: 1) was that anakin continues to work with palpatine and periodically runs into obi-wan over the years, they fight but maybe develop a bit of a friendly rivalry rather then full on hate each other (although neither of them would admit it). Vader would be slightly more chill then his canon counterpart- more fun evil then sad evil I think. Not sure if that’d be too ooc but I always love fun villains so whatever

The council’s reaction to this would probably be roughly similar to their feelings about maul or ventress- just a threat to the galaxy they’d be keen on taking down. I do think they’d be worried about obi-wan though- at the start because he’s poured everything into trying to track vader down instead of processing his feelings about qui gon dying, and later because and later because of the bond he’s started to have with anakin. THAT BEING SAID I think they’d be pretty concerned about anakins power levels, but I think he’d be a fairly mysterious figure that (maybe until the clone wars) hasn’t done a whole lot- at least not that can be tracked back to him. They’re being cautious but also aside from qui gons dying words maybe they wouldn’t even be sure he exists (obi-wan strongly objects to this notion) (more under the cut)

OK SECOND OPTION (I just have a lot of ideas ok!): the reason I came up with this au in the first place I’m pretty sure was because I had the idea of a jedi obi-wan trying to train a tiny sith anakin and help him with yknow. Emotional control and shit. SO the other idea I had was obi-wan manages to find anakin pretty quickly and goes “oh shit. This is a child. Wtf” and then decides since he can’t fight him in good conscience he has no choice to but to try to train him. Anakin obviously has some objections to this because yknow.. he killed maul but ANYWAY! None of this is the point let’s just obi-wan eventually manages to convince this sassy lost child to go with him! How do the council react?

I mean. Not amazingly. They hardly wanted anakin to be trained as a jedi in general let alone already fallen and trained in the dark side

But that being said... there’s a difference between being trained and being trained in the dark side HEAR ME OUT!!!

I think that they could allow obi-wan to train him if only to help him deal with the dark side and hell maybe even return him to the light (has such a thing even happened in canon up to this point??) especially since their only other options would be imprisoning or killing him and well look at that face! You can’t say you’re gonna imprison him to that face!! (And also obi-wan emotionally equipped to do this? Probably not! He’s still gonna try though!)

Either that or maybe obi-wan leaves the jedi temple with anakin? Man idk my brain is too dead to figure out what’s would work with the characters or not. It’s my au and I get to choose possibly ooc decisions

Ok second question- where does he live? I mean even with maul I don’t think they stayed in one place very often- usually doing their vigilante shit around the outer rim. ALTHOUGH I had to google it darth maul had a ship (fake fan, ik) and it’s called the Sith Infiltrator and the idea maul going around in that along with his ten year old apprentice made of sunshine is so funny. Anakin definitely defaced the paint job with stickers and drawings and what have you. I’m getting sidetracked

Point is: anakin goes from being trapped on a desert planet do going in a cool spaceship and travelling the galaxy so I don’t think he’d be a fan of staying in one place. Even if he does end up with obi-wan training him... well let’s just say obi-wan has to hand out missing flyers. A lot.

Ok now MAUL. Maul. Okay so the thing is I’m don’t know what he’s doing this whole time. Problem is I don’t know maul as well as I know other characters so I’m ESPECIALLY worried about making decisions for him that don’t make sense but...

I think the parallels between Sidious taking maul as a child and anakins current situation and i think this is why he doesn’t go full Dark Sith Lord Training on anakin and why they have more fun- maybe he sees part of what he could have been in anakin? Little bit? And I think this is also the reason he kind of just ignored the glaringly obvious “there’s only supposed to be 2 sith” rule up till now

I mention this because there is YET ANOTHER crossroads here. 1) this one is probably the most Star Wars-y... like in canon maul, fueled by hate maul survives and gets to lotho. Because of this hate, whatever affection he might’ve had for anakin turns to jealousy and anger, because of his (relative) innocence, power and palpatines obvious plans to replace maul with anakin. I think maul perhaps goes to sidious to become his apprentice again (around tcw era) but I’m not sure. Maybe by this point dooku has been killed (by anakin?) or maul kills him to take his place? Or mauls singleminded hate for anakin outweighs his hate for palpatine and they form an alliance just to take him down.

The important thing his is that: maul has convinced himself he hates anakin meanwhile anakin is on the other side of the galaxy mourning... this could lead a pretty fun interaction huh.. wink wink nudge nudge

The other option which I honestly don’t know any details for is just that maul survives through the ✨power of friendship✨ and him and anakin reunite and maul and obi-wan and maul bicker and everyone is vibing and palpatine is dead <3

The children were grateful for the autograph, they have it hanging by the ones they have of quidditch players, Nathaniel was insistent because you had “done the greatest deed in this mess”, keeping his favorite store open. Children’s priorities amaze me every day, Maeve was insistent this week that she share her toys with the house elf because Whimsy should get to have playtime too.

My eldest niece Maisie is 18, she was a Ravenclaw and has been immensely helpful in making sure the others educations don’t fall behind. She’s also been helping me go through and pack what remains of our extended families library collections, she’s even got one of the heaviest boxes marked for ones she wishes to read herself. It’s quite funny that for having such a strict analytical mind that she is an accomplished seer. I think her determination to understand and control her gift is actually what has allowed her to succeed. Nathaniel is her younger brother he’s turning 13 soon, he is a Gryffindor through and through, a rambunctious trouble maker who doesn’t always thinks things through but it ultimately loyal. Then comes the twins, Luna and Luca, they’re 9 now and both quite quiet. However Luna has an affinity for plant life and nature based magic, and well Luca is just a bit of a pyromaniac. Their brother Leo is the youngest in my care, only 18 months old. Then there’s Maeve, the animal lover who stayed at our hounds sides all week until we heard the news, she’s to turn 5 soon. I honestly sometimes wonder if she’s actually able to communicate with the different creatures she always seems to find, she says she can but children that young are known to imagine theses sorts of things, especially after trauma.

Maeve unfortunately saw my youngest sister and her husband die, they were in a bookstore that got attacked. Maisie and Nathaniels father, my older brother, was attempting to protect their home from looters, he finished mending the protective shields but used too much energy and had none left to heal his injuries, their mother died years prior. I’m not quite sure what happened to the twins and Leo's parents, their father was my little brother and sent them to me, away from most of the violence initially in our ancestors home, but I received notice of their death not long after they arrived. There’s also a good possibility my youngest uncles three children, two sons and a daughter (14 b, 11 b, 7 g) will be put in my care if he does not come out of his coma. His wife’s parents can handle them short term, but are much too old to care for them in the long run.

By chance is the Bagshot Park Estate available or perhaps Claremont House Estate? They are a bit large, but we need land for when accidents happen, which they’re bound to when learning the old magic. Mess up one step and anything can happen. Also, the hellhound needs space to roam, especially when his mate visits.

I’ve been informed to properly join I’ll need to go through trials. I was wondering if I would be able to know what this entails. Also, as the children in my care come first, I must insist that they be settled in to wherever we find our new home in England before taking on these trials. They’ve been through so much I simply must ensure that they feel safe in their new home before spending much more time away from them.

(Writer of this blog: this is quite fun thanks for doing this, I doubt I’d be able to consistently come up with answers for such a complex, selfish, and perfect cult leader, definite early signs of sociopath (killing that kids bunny and stealing others treasured and valuable things and lack of empathy) that seem somewhat canonical. Ik we know a lot about Voldemort which definitely helps but people who run these blogs in ways that seem true to character are talented. I always try to understand where people come from and what’s made them them. I try not to hate a person but only hate the actions and choices they make and the actions and choices that have effected them. But ik with some of these questions you get I’d probably have to really try to think hard about what the character would say and put a lot of focus on separating myself out of the equation. You’re kind of like a skilled method actor. Like Heath Ledger (RIP) was a wonderful and kind person, but he was so good at separating from himself and really becoming the joker.)

Children are indeed a baffling delight, are they not. I remember when Delphini was small, and she enjoyed giving me flowers to set upon my desk. I humored her, and there would be bouquets of daffodils placed around various dark texts and artifacts. What a sight that must have been! I was perhaps too annoyed with the child at the time. They do grow rather quickly. 

Maisie sounds like she has a good head on her shoulders, as any Ravenclaw does. A fine house - I am certain she knows Delphini, though Delphi was a bit of a wild teenager and I would imagine she would not have hung about anyone with half some sense at that age. Shame, truly. But she is calming down a bit now, as much as one can with someone like Bella for a mother. She takes after her mother in more ways than one, which is a blessing and a curse. 

A Gryffindor? How unfortunate, but it does sound as though you are raising him right. As for the smaller ones, they sound as though they will turn out well - despite the challenges. War is very hard on our children, unfortunately. My condolences for your losses. 

I recommend Bagshot Park. More land for the children to run amok on - especially if you gather up more.  

Ah, so you wish to take the Dark Mark? I had assumed you would not want to get terribly involved in government as you have the children no one in your position would get hounded after to take the Mark, with that in mind, so if you feel you must out of necessity, you need not worry. Ah, but Bella informs me this is sexist, and you may merely just want to take the Mark out of genuine interest. I admit, I grew up in a different time, and perhaps forget this on occasion. 

We do generally prefer an eldest son take the mark when he comes of age -  your oldest boy being a Gryffindor, he may resist this custom. However, if Maisie were to marry one of my ranks, (or I suppose take the Mark herself, if she is interested) then perhaps we can look the other way about the boy.   

The trials only last a night, and are a test of loyalty and strengths more than anything. There is dueling involved, so dress comfortably. But we can speak more to that once you are settled.
